SEER2
SEER2 stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and applies to cooling efficiency for central air conditioners and heat pumps. The higher the SEER2, the greater the energy economy.
EER2
The Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER2) that calculates the energy the unit uses to function. It can be found by dividing a unit’s BTU output by its wattage, and the high EER2 rating means a more efficient air conditioner, so the higher the better.

Sound Level
A decibel is a unit used to measure sound or power level of an electrical signal by comparing it with a given level on a logarithmic scale.

Communicating capability
The ability of the HVAC system's components to exchange information and work together seamlessly. This allows for more precise control, better energy efficiency, and the ability to adjust settings remotely or automatically based on the system's performance, environmental conditions, or user preferences.

No Hassle Warranty
If compressor, coil or heat exchanger fails due to defect during the applicable No Hassle Replacement limited warranty time period, a one-time replacement with a comparable unit will be provided.

Fan Motor
The fan motor drives the fan blades to circulate air through the HVAC system, maintaining proper airflow, ensuring efficient heating and cooling, and preventing system overheating.

Compressor
The compressor pumps and compresses refrigerant, enabling heat transfer to condition the air efficiently.

Cooling capacity
The cooling capacity of an air conditioner or heat pump indicates the amount of heat it can remove per hour. It is measured in tons, with one ton equaling 12,000 BTUs.

Refrigerant
Refrigerant absorbs heat from indoor air in the evaporator coil and releases it outside through the condenser coil, enabling the cooling process.
*Quietest size within each model group during most common cooling operating condition.
+No Hassle Replacement™ Limited Warranty: If compressor, coil or heat exchanger fails due to defect during the applicable No Hassle Replacement limited warranty time period, a one-time replacement with a comparable unit will be provided.
±10-Year Parts Limited Warranty: Timely registration required for 10-year parts limited warranty. Limited warranty period is 5 years if not registered within 90 days of installation. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits cannot be conditioned on registration will receive the registered limited warranty periods. Please see warranty certificate for further details and restrictions.
