SEER
SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio and applies to cooling efficiency for central air conditioners and heat pumps. The higher the SEER, the greater the energy economy.
HSPF
Heat pumps heat your home using electricity as their fuel source, and their efficiency is measured as Heating Seasonal Performance Factor (HSPF). The higher the HSPF, the greater the efficiency and the greater your energy savings potential.
