AFUE
Gas furnaces use Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) as their efficiency measurement. The higher the AFUE, the greater the efficiency and the greater your energy savings potential

Blower Motor
The blower motor helps circulate heated air through the ductwork and distributes it evenly throughout the home for consistent indoor comfort.

Heating capacity
Heating capacity for a furnace refers to the amount of heat a furnace can produce to warm a space, measured in British Thermal Units per hour (BTUh).

Operation
A single-stage unit operates at full capacity when on, a two-stage unit has two levels of operation (low for mild heating needs and high for maximum heating), and a modulating unit continuously adjusts its output to match the precise heating demands, offering more efficient and consistent temperature control.
For California Residents:
Meets California’s South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD) ultra low NOx emission limit of 14 ng/J.
If installed within the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) of California, this furnace may be eligible for up to a $500 rebate from the district. See www.cleanairfurnacerebate.com for more information on eligibility and the claiming process.
